I wasn't happy with the price of this water bottle but after purchasing it I figured the extremely good reviews might make it worth it. In my search for a new water bottle (my glass bottle, which worked perfectly, broke at work one day), I knew I wanted something metallic, preferably a fun color that can be easily identified as mine. I've had bad experiences with plastic water bottles getting slimy so I figured stainless steel was the best. I also wanted a narrow neck. The S'well bottle hit the spot. It also has the added benefit of being double walled to keep the bottle from sweating. This makes the bottle a bit heavy (sometimes empty I still think it's full because of the weight), but it's worth it. The bottle was ready to use after a quick wash with warm, soapy water (and a bottle brush, which is essential for cleaning this type of bottle). It really keeps water cold for hours while it feels at room temperature. The bottle closes well and is easy to open. I also love the design (Lily Wood) which makes me smile every time I see it. Slightly larger than a store-bought plastic water bottle, the 17-ounce size is perfect for keeping on my desk or taking to work meetings. I am so pleased with it that I am considering buying a smaller bottle to replace my "travel" water bottle.
