This is by far the best water bottle I have ever used or bought. As you can see I have a few of these. Some are only 2 years old, others only 6 months. They keep the water nice and cold for a long time, even in warmer weather. It is most likely stainless steel. But depending on your fridge, placement inside, and settings, liquids can take a little longer to cool, especially when compared to all plastic containers. etc. They are very tough. And if you drop one - don't worry - everything will be fine. The last two photos show the small plastic caps on the ends where the handle attaches to the bottle. They'll probably pop out on the first fall or two, but you won't miss them. Just slide the handle back into the side handles and it works as always. He can still hold his full weight normally. And the handles themselves are quite thick and sturdy - as you can see, none of my dropped bottles have cracks in the re-attached handles; only these plugs are missing at the connection point. They are neither glue nor tools; Just pull the handle a little, put it on the pegs and you're ready to go! Much luck!
