Review on ☕ Stainless Steel Induction Moka Pot - Cuisinox Capri 9 Cup Espresso Coffee Maker by Mike Bigglesworth

Not a bad device but the design leaves a lot to be desired. By saving on material and designing the upper tank with a deeply contoured bottom (see photo), the designers have created a true cleaning nightmare. In addition, the walls of the top section are not thick enough to be rigid and flex when the device is twisted open and closed. The instructions specifically state not to use the handle as a lever, and it's clear why: it's either spot welded or most likely just glued (!) and not attached with strong rivets. The hinge on the lid is also quite fiddly. Generally a tolerable device, but not worth the price in my opinion.
