This is a handy tool that will work for many uses around the home, but keep your expectations on par with the price. Setting it up to use with my iPhone 8 was OK. The app didn't download properly from the Appstore the first go around, so I uninstalled it and tried again. The second installation was successful and I was able to join the Jetion Wifi network to pair the phone app with the endoscope camera. (The phone re-paired up with my home wifi once the camera was turned off.)The FOXWELL brand is on the tool despite it being sold under the brand name LIMINK. The User Manual states the product is Made in China and the support email on the back of the manual is amazonsupport at foxwelltech dot com.What I liked about this product.1. The cable is of a generous length. Looks to be about 12' although I did not measure it because it's coiled and tough to get straightened out to measure it.2. The app paired with the endoscope on the first try and maintained its connectivity throughout use. It should be noted that if you are out of range of wifi, the connection will be lost.3. The cable has Velcro straps attached for easy wrapping and storage.4. On the control end of the endoscope, there's a button to take a photo or record video and +/- buttons to zoom in and out without the need to do so in the app. There's also a rolling dial on the side of the controller that changes the amount of illumination emitted by the LEDs on the camera end of the endoscope.5. The included directions for setup and use are clearly written and easy to understand.6. The endoscope camera, cable, and controller all seem fairly durable and should hold up to gentle, occasional use.7. Being able to change the camera's resolution and the wifi password in the app is handy.8. The included accessories: hook, magnet, and mirror are a nice addition.9. The camera works underwater up to 1 meter ( 3') deep.10. Wifi transmission distance is about 10 meters (32.8')------------------------------I would like the product even more if.1. The cable is very stiff and it was difficult to maneuver the camera through ductwork and pipes because of the stiff coils. Perhaps this will change over time? I realize the cable does need some stiffness to remain in place, however.2. Backlighted buttons on the controller would be helpful.3. The camera is waterproof, but if you get water on the camera, you can't see anything. I tested it in my tub drain after a shower and gave up after a couple of tries as the water was obscuring the view.4. High definition photos are possible with this camera, but you must have the camera completely still to get high-resolution images.5. Would love to have the ability to change the camera's resolution on the handheld controller in addition to being able to do it on the app. You can record video or take photos in 480, 720 or 1080p resolution.6. The camera seemed to struggle to focus as it was advanced through the air ducts in my house. Lighting changes probably affected this, and perhaps having it on the highest resolution?7. The camera and cable are waterproof, but the transmission box (controller) is not. Why not make all of it waterproof so it can be used in all weather and conditions?--------------------------For the price, this is a good endoscope with lots of features.I think it could be very handy for locating and retrieving a lost nut or bolt under the hood of a car if you can manage to work the cable around without knocking off the magnet. I also think it's great for peering down drainpipes and it could be a valuable tool for locating the ring you just dropped down the sink.I was able to see how dirty my 40-yearold house really is and decided that unless I wanted sleepless nights, I'd use this endoscope sparingly! 😂If you're looking for an inexpensive tool with multiple uses and you have a smartphone or tablet you can pair with it, it's worth your consideration.==================================
