Review on 🎨 Crayola DIY Gallery Wall Art Set & Origami Kit - Craft Kit with Over 30 Pieces by Linda Diaz

Large box, plastic loss and minimal supplies

I find the waste of plastic and paper in the packaging of this set ridiculous. Basically, you get a few sheets of paper, 4 oil pastel pens, and 4 metal pens. Metal pens must be shaken for 20 seconds and then the felt tip inserted and removed for 60 seconds to allow the paint to flow. You will receive 10 sheets of pearl paper (shiny paper), 5 sheets of embossed paper and 6 sheets of origami paper. The manual consists of 4 pages, where the first page shows what's in the box, the second and third pages contain two origami templates - a flower and a pyramid, and the fourth page contains suggestions for mounting a framed picture on the wall . Serious? Is this a guide? This is a really big, overpriced box that comes with a few consumables. I believe the idea of packing a small amount of supplies in a large box would be helpful if gifting this to a child. I suppose a bigger box makes the gift more impressive? But if you have a little artist you're shopping for, you'd better fill a gift bag with a pack of Crayola metal markers, a pack of origami paper, and a pack of embossed sheets. They would probably achieve the same price and the child would have a lot more material to experiment with.
