I got this for my Mr. Beer and it worked like a charm. I needed a constant temperature of 70% for fermentation and that worked great. No questions. However, it looks like I have to open the mini-fridge door to activate the device. As soon as it reaches too high a temperature, the regulator trips. Once this is done, you can close the door for the next two weeks and it will reliably maintain the ideal temperature of 70%. It can vary slightly from 70% to 70.5% but this is perfect! It's amazing how accurately it stays at the temperature you set it to. Update: After seven months of great work, he's dead to me. Very disappointed. Now it just heats up whether I turn it on or not. I've tried resetting it by completely shutting it down with no power. Didn't fix the problem. Now when I set the temp to go up, it only goes down.
