Review on 💃 Reed and Barton Ballerina Collection Water Globe: Enchanting Multi-Color Sphere - 2.20 LB by Erin Lowe

BACKGROUND: I bought this jewelry box as a Christmas present for my 5 year old daughter. We shopped online and finally settled on this jewelry box as it is not paper/tin based and looked like our daughter could grow up and still have her as a teenager. MY EXPERIENCE: The processing quality of this jewelry box is immediately noticeable. It's heavy and strong and looks like it should last for many years. However, not everything was perfect. The pink tassel on the front of the box fell off within the first few minutes and was very difficult to put back on (had to use a heat gun to solder it back on). In addition, the removable top shelf in the box had a very good fit. So tight that it creates suction in the box when trying to remove it, which my daughter can't handle at the moment. I hope things get better with time otherwise I'll probably have to drill some small holes in the top shell to fix the suction issue. FINAL THOUGHTS: Overall I am happy with this purchase. I really think it will last for many years and my daughter definitely loves it. The only things holding it back from a five star rating are issues with the tassel and the fit of the top tray in the box.
