In the long run dip nails are cheaper than going to the salon but the upfront costs are a lot, especially if (like me) you want more than one color. Sets like this make dip powder more affordable, as it comes with all the liquids and a variety of colors to try. I agree this is a starter kit and when you find out what you like and how to apply it properly you can move on to more expensive kits (there is a learning curve - watch a few YouTube videos first). The only con which is also a pro is that the liquids and powders do not create as thick or strong a nail as something like Revel Nails. However, this is a pro because if you are a beginner that is terrible. This kit is hard to make mistakes with, it dries fast and if you accidentally over brush the top coat still dries fine. This is the perfect starter kit!
