Review on MOKOSE HDMI Camera: High Definition 1080P 60FPS Digital Security πŸ“· Camera with 3.2mm No Distortion HD Lens - Industry Grade Performance by Robert Jackson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The camera lasted 4 months, then BROKEN

I was very happy about this camera. Exactly what I needed: compact, excellent lens and color reproduction, HDMI output. It only worked a month after the 90-day warranty period expired. Last week it produced a vertical stripe 10 pixels wide for a few hours and then stopped working. Although I can see and work with the menu (including attempting resets), the actual video from the camera's sensors does not appear on the HDMI output. I've tried different monitors and reset the power supply multiple times. No fun. He appears to have died after serving well for several months. I've only used it on five projects, each lasting about 2 days. I was in my mid-six and that's when she stopped. I used this camera to track the position of a rotary tool while holding it over a piece of wood to ensure even wall thickness. The camera experiences very little vibration and I felt it was minimal. So my caveat to other buyers is that this camera may not be ready to handle any type of vibration and may have a longer lifespan if mounted on one solid mount stars As she died only 4 months later I'm only giving her 2, assuming it would have lasted longer if I installed it on the ceiling.

Pros
  • Useful not only for the intended purpose
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
