Good for Zoom with an HDMI-based switch like the BMD ATEM Mini

So much online learning these days mostly via Zoom (2020-2021). A BMD ATEM Mini to switch between two of these cameras, an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil as a whiteboard, and a fourth input from a MacBook Air. Added VideoMicro to ATEM Mini; on a table with some lamps and it's an online course. These cameras have excellent image quality with SONY sensor and glass lens. The lens is very sensitive to adjustments as other comments have noted. Of course, it's best to set it up and leave it "blocked".

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Image quality and user-serviceable parts

These cameras are remarkably reliable for their price. Color space and image detail are significantly better than pricier offerings from larger brands, including a very good frame rate of 60 fps. I'm here to talk about build quality. I use these cameras during live performances. One of them fell during a show and blocked the lens ring. I contacted the company to get a new lens and they kindly sent me a new camera. But in the meantime, I've taken it apart and found that it's fully…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Security

The camera lasted 4 months, then BROKEN

I was very happy about this camera. Exactly what I needed: compact, excellent lens and color reproduction, HDMI output. It only worked a month after the 90-day warranty period expired. Last week it produced a vertical stripe 10 pixels wide for a few hours and then stopped working. Although I can see and work with the menu (including attempting resets), the actual video from the camera's sensors does not appear on the HDMI output. I've tried different monitors and reset the power supply multiple

Pros
  • Useful not only for the intended purpose
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

I bought these to use with the Blackmagic ATEM Pro in the streaming app along with some smart clips. I was pretty much immediately struck by how good they are despite being so petite. These are good, sharp, bright cameras with good color reproduction. The screw attachment at the top and bottom offers additional creative attachment options. There's a complete electronic menu of configurations that I didn't even bother to look at. The downside is the included lens. It's actually a pretty good…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Very good camera for the money

The camera is versatile and looks good for the money REMEMBER THERE ARE 3 SETTINGS ON THE LENS, NOT JUST 2. FRONT AND BACK FOCUS AND ZOOM. THERE IS A CENTER RING TO ADJUST THE DIAPHRAGM. SOME PEOPLE COMPLAINT THAT THE CAMERA IS TOO FOG OR TOO BRIGHT BECAUSE THE CENTER RING (APRIS) HAS NOT BEEN ADJUSTED

Pros
  • Manufactured by
Cons
  • Secret

Similar to AIDA HD-100A but much cheaper

We have been using the AIDA HD-100A plus Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro for live streaming and recording yoga sessions during the pandemic. It's a super alternative - near perfect fit/fit/function at a much lower price and includes an optical zoom lens (AIDA comes with a fixed fisheye; had to buy interchangeable lenses). The only thing missing is an audio input (never mind - we're basically running separate audio on the ATEM Mini Pro). There is a small joystick mounted on the camera body that makes…

Easy to set up/use in webcams

Well programmed on many levels - supports a wide range of scan speeds/resolutions for connection to monitors/recorders. Picture is good for the price. There's always a bit of noise in shadowed areas - but that's normal for a security device. The lens is simple - just focus. The sharpest range for this camera is actually less than 6 feet. Has excellent macro/close-up capabilities with this lens. From 12 feet to infinity, you need to focus on the big screen (monitor) to get the best sharpness…

Pros
  • Worth your money
Cons
  • Almost everything included

Winner! Webcams - Audio & Video Accessories

Nice little camera - so good I went back to buy a second one. I have my first that successfully outputs 1080p30 to a Magewell Quad HDMI capture card via a 15ft HDMI cable. I have nothing to complain about and I'm particularly pleased with the actual optical zoom/focus/iris adjustment that the lens offers.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model.
