This product was better than I expected! I already had the case pictured above with a metal plate on the back, so this mount works for me without the adhesive metal plates. I'm sure if you were to use the plates in addition to or in place of a case like mine it would work just fine too. The magnetic mount is solid and holds my phone in place with no issues. The silicone mount absorbs vibrations from the road and my particularly old and rattling car, keeping the phone almost perfectly stable at all times. I recommend this product over cheaper brands.
