Unfortunately I was amazed at how much better they hold up than traditional old discs that are glued to the underside of a charred leg cap that needs to be replaced from time to time. I expect they will perform better and last longer than the ones that are glued to the discs. The downside, which stupidly didn't occur to me, is that they make very nice cherry chairs look pretty bad. It's like covering a nice couch with clear vinyl. Keeps it clean and pristine but makes something pretty look pretty ostentatious. But the product does what it is designed to do, provide a good foot pad that stays on the chair leg well! If it's just a feature you want, that's great.
