Review on 🎞️ Kodak D-76 Developer Powder for 1 Gallon Black and White Film by Suhas Carney

Revainrating 5 out of 5

d-76 Classic Developer

D-76 has been around longer than me. I used it in high school, high school and college and now that I'm a professional photographer I still use it. This is one of the best general developers. Digital is great, but black and white film still looks different than digital. My clients can experience a certain feeling that black and white films convey. My local camera shop has several packs of film, they charge $12 (which is insanely expensive). I can get it on Revain for $5-6 and it works great. I buy 2 or 3 at a time because the price is way better than in town and in powder form it lasts a long time. I mix it with the liquid I use same day or next day. Usually with 120 or 4x5 film, T-Max or Rolling Retro 400. Pros: cheap and works Cons: none

  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
