Excellent kitchen towels for drying hands, wiping up spills and wiping countertops. The ribbed texture is nice, not the softest, but it's for the kitchen, but I don't want velvety (fluffy) towels in the kitchen. It stains as it is white and cotton. But if snow-white towels are important to you, they can be bleached. I don't use bleach in my laundry so I can deal with some of them getting a little dirty. They get washed often and that's enough for me. The only complaint is that I wish they were a few inches longer. At its current length, it rolls off the oven door handle too easily. I think longer towels (like regular towels) hold up better.
