Throws Spalding balls out of water

I play outdoor basketball almost every day. If I can reach an indoor court, I go to my trusty Wilson Evolution but that wasn't possible during the pandemic. The outside area closest to my house is covered in pretty rough cement so I know I have to change my basketball every three months.I agree 50 every three months spending $ on my hobby. However, I have bought and returned many Spalding balls for around $40 and they are all of inferior quality now compared to the same models four or five years ago. The final and biggest culprit is the Spalding Zi/O which feels like a toddler ball and is lighter than the official weight I gave them all one star describing my complete disappointment with the Spalding brand This ball won't let me down The weight is accurate, the rebound is strong, soft and grippy. Doesn't attract dust like most balls I've tried, even when dirty, the deep channels help a lot. The only downside is that the inflator isn't flush with the ball, you feel it when you touch it and change the direction of impact. (although if you're on slightly uneven cement it's not a problem anyway). If only they could fix that little flaw, this would be the best outdoor basketball money can buy after trying almost all of them (thanks to Revain for the generous return policy).

Pros
  • Official size 29.5" Basketball
Cons
  • I don't really like it, it's ok
