We bought the 5-8 year old model first and it is just as adorable on the picture as it is in real life. Pleased that it is built in the USA or local and imported parts. However, it was nowhere near larger than our baby's head. It almost fits my adult head. Her head was also measured before ordering. We came back for the size 2-5 and it fits a lot better. My only complaint about the smaller size is that it's made in China and smells awful. We left it in the sun and that seems to help but wow whatever they wrapped or processed it smells so good. Otherwise, if they fit your child's head, they are both very durable and well made. It's just a pity that everything came from the USA.
