This helmet is too cute. Our (almost) 3 year old loves it and even wanted to wear it to bed for the first few nights after we got it! It fits well, is easy to adjust and I feel good knowing this is a Bell product because they know what they are doing with helmet production! We bought the 5-8 year old model first and it is just as adorable on the picture as it is in real life. Pleased that it is built in the USA or local and imported parts. However, it was nowhere near larger than our baby's head. It almost fits my adult head. Her head was also measured before ordering. We came back for the size 2-5 and it fits a lot better. My only complaint about the smaller size is that it's made in China and smells awful. We left it in the sun and that seems to help but wow…

I found this helmet so cute and contrary to some reviews not cheap at all. I bought it in June for my niece's birthday. Sized for toddlers 3-5 but we left all the padding inside and it fits perfectly. She was six years old on her birthday and if she has to remove the very thick, removable foam padding as she gets older, I expect she'll be wearing it for at least another year or two.
