Review on Protecting Young Riders in Style: Bell Girls Hello Kitty Bike Helmet by Nathan Ortiz

I found this helmet so cute and contrary to some reviews not cheap at all. I bought it in June for my niece's birthday. Sized for toddlers 3-5 but we left all the padding inside and it fits perfectly. She was six years old on her birthday and if she has to remove the very thick, removable foam padding as she gets older, I expect she'll be wearing it for at least another year or two. This is actually the cutest helmet I've seen in this size and price range and my niece absolutely loved it. This is Bell and after buying two Bell helmets for my son I knew that this company makes quality children's helmets at a reasonable price. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it's a little heavy and could do with better ventilation at the top of the helmet. My niece didn't seem to mind, otherwise it would give her good protection. Once the excess padding is removed, it won't be as heavy as it grows. Otherwise it fits well.
