I thought it was a little expensive for a cover, but now I see that it's definitely worth the money. It's sleek, durable, and smooth (feels premium). It fits the iPad very well and I really have no complaints. In general a good looking case. PS As for the keyboard, no thoughts yet as I haven't used it, but the quality seems good (no silicone/rubber keyboards). Update: It's been a few months and I still like the new case. I dropped my iPad (laughs) and it was intact - no rips, tears or scratches. The keyboard works well, although I've found it to be buggy at times and some keys get double-entered (e.g. 2 b when you typed 1), but I think this only happens after prolonged use. Overall it's a decent keyboard especially if you don't use it too much and as I feel it's almost like a 'free' keyboard given the quality of the case it's for what she is quite good. I can still recommend the case!
