The style of this lamp is exactly what I expected. It was easy to assemble - just twisted the bracket parts, unscrewed the part holding the lampshade, screwed the lampshade on, inserted the bulb and plugged in. The variety of dimming functions really drew me in. It's bright enough for you to see me clearly on Zoom calls, but it can be dimmed to avoid the headaches I get all too easily. The only thing that confuses me is the raw edge at the top of the shadow. It's just shoddy craftsmanship, and while this lamp isn't expensive, it wasn't cheap either. It leaves a small gap between the lamp and the lampshade that becomes more visible when the light is on. If you're like me, this will bother you until you forget, so don't bring it back again.
