Review on Advanced Starfiber StarMop Wet/Dry Microfiber Cleaning Kit by Melvin House

Don't be afraid to clean the floors

I live in the tropics; Windows are open 24 hours a day. My glossy white ceramic tile floors definitely need frequent mopping. In the past, this meant vacuuming dust and dirt first, usually once a week, and then wiping down with old-fashioned cotton mops. As you know, it was back-breaking, time-consuming, dirty work. I only run this Starfiber mop over the floor a few times every two to three days. I sometimes spray some detergent on the mop on the first pass, but not always. When the mop gets dirty, it's easy to rinse out with a spray bottle in the sink, so I don't have to smear dirty water on the floor between rinses or put my hands in a bucket of dirty water. I have also used a Don Aslett mop for several years which was identical except for the color and nozzle. The mop fibers were short and smooth and created more drag as they moved across the floor. I managed to break it while washing my terrazzo floor so I gave this one a try. Cleans just as well, but this type of mop glides across the floor more easily.
