Get an 8 inch skewer for a delicious fruity skewer.
I was very pleased with these heavy duty 8 inch skewers which I used for fruit at lunch. The flat surface prevents the fruit from turning. The paddle makes it easy to hold. 8 inches was just right for a large plate and long enough to hold 3 1 inch hearts (watermelon and strawberries) and 2 grapes. I liked the blonde color. The only downside was that my package was also open when the tips of the skewers pierced the bag. I haven't lost any sleep because of it.
