Review on Dimensions Needlecrafts 08819 Christmas Stocking by Carla Williams

This stocking is good and the set is well organized. I think it's good that the thread comes pre-sorted. The colors are bold and the fabric is dense. This is a long project, but not particularly difficult - there is very little floss and only a cross, half cross and backstitch are included in the pattern. I modified the drawing with quarter and three-quarter stitches to smooth out the lines a bit. The only problem I had was that the plan has three parts and it's not clear where they intersect. Once I figured out where the pattern overlapped, I took a marker and drew lines across the pattern so I didn't have to sew the lines twice. I like that the plans are big and detailed, just wish they had some consistency at the start. Definitely worth the effort!
