Not rubber, but hard plastic.
Easy assembly, the only thing I didn't like was that it's harder plastic. Hard rubber is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of floor mats. Makes your car look really nice except the plastic is overpriced. If you don't pity plastic rugs, then I'd take it, leave mine :)
