Not quite working

I thought it might be great and solve my problem. I've had multiple surgeries on my knee so it's difficult for me to reach my feet to trim my nails. My nails are also quite thick. Aside from the downside that other reviewers have mentioned (that they're not spring-loaded, so don't open on their own), they just don't cut very well. I'm going back to using my old clippers and can still try to get them back as they're pretty much useless. At least it wasn't a big investment.
