I bought this PRW pump to fit an Edelbrock Victor pump to replace my 93 Mustang GT which was leaking from the drain hole after only a year and a half of normal daily use. The PRW pump turned out to be the same design but at a lower price point, so I decided to take a chance. When I received the pump I carefully compared it to the Edelbrock pump and found that they were virtually identical except for the impeller. The PRW impeller has a nice backsweep as you would expect (for efficiency), while the Edelbrock has an odd backsweep that is generally backwards but has a forward vein shape. I'm not exactly sure what the difference is, but PRW definitely seems like a more efficient design to me. Very happy with the pump! I would recommend checking the gear ratio though. Mine works best at 10% acceleration, which is 28% slower than standard pulleys. The 5.25" pump pulley with the standard 5.75" crank pulley works great.
