I bought this mainly to cover my hot shoe on my Sony a6000. It's made of rubber so it fits snugly and protects the sensors on the hot shoe. I thought it was great that he also had a level. I have another level that does four-way leveling when I really need it, but it comes in handy. You have to be looking at it, so you have to use it with a tripod or when the camera is on a stable surface below you. This won't work unless you're using a screen that you can look down at while viewing the level. It's still useful and profitable when you buy other things.
