The plastic that connects the ball head to the body of the base of the mount WILL BE SEPARATED, rendering the entire device unusable. I tried two of these and within 2 weeks of using the ball head just falls off the base when the device releases the phone. No pulling, twisting or other torque. He simply parted from his secure base.
