Review on Enhanced Westcott 5-Inch Titanium Bonded Craft Scissors with Precise Micro-Tip (Model 16376) by Carol Miller

It's no good - just don't do it.

There is something wrong with the production of these scissors. There is simply no quality control. If you're ready to trim the burrs from your blades and sharpen them, good, then go ahead. But honestly, for just a few coins more you can get the best pair in the same format from Fiskars, but they have smooth blades (these don't) and much more comfortable handles (they have an odd shape - which can be a problem with such sizes.) Seriously - at first I thought I forgot how to use the scissors because they don't cut the fabric. (Cloth!) Turns out there were some imperfections in the blades that kept them apart - a little micro sawing motion and they work pretty well (just glue in some places - not smooth). But they were cheap. I put them in a basket and never reach for them as I have a couple of Fiskars and some creepy vintage German scissors which I prefer. Lesson learned.
