I bought several different ring holders for the back of the phone. I was looking for gold rings and was delighted when I came across this article. I got four and yesterday was the first day I put it on my phone. At the end of the day the ring was completely loose and didn't hold up at all, there was absolutely no tension left. When I was about to take it off I used a credit card to peel off the adhesive so I could try using the other one which came in a set of four and after getting the credit card I ripped it about 3/4 of the way off and it took part of my phone case. This is not the ring's fault, just a warning that the adhesive is very strong and difficult to remove if you decide to change rings. I don't know if it was just a bad ring but I put one of the other rings on another case and my colleague is also using the third (out of four packs) on his phone case and none of them come off. However, I hardly touch it and don't move it at all, because then it also loosens and usually becomes unusable.
