These are great winter boots! My daughter and I are very worried about her. They're stylish and lightweight, and the bottom is made from a durable plastic material that's a one-piece molding that should be great for both grip and waterproofing. The upper material is a thick, quilted insulating material and is additionally covered with a synthetic impregnation. The gussets open VERY wide, both for easier foot entry and exit, and for drying (as snow/water can get through the top during play). The velcro strap fits snugly to the foot and looks wide enough to keep it long. We've had it with boots that are difficult to get on and off, or a dull lining that keeps coming out, so these wide-opening all-in-one boots are just what we were looking for.
