Unless they're soaked in a bowl of hot water, it's impossible to put them on. Once you soak them they fit easily, in fact you'll be amazed at how much they stretch to fit in your dishwasher. My dishwasher had rusty and swollen pins, it looked awful and the dishwasher was only a year old. I randomly bought them to see if they would work instead of paying more money for new dishwashing baskets. These prongs turned my dishwasher back into a brand new one, I'm really stunned. and oddly we have well water where all white turns orange over time, but these caps are still brilliant white! completely new!
