really nice craft/project

I got the level 2 set and finished it with my 4 and 7 year old sons and everything went well. It's really like building with Lego but with the added step of using cement. Cement consists of sand, starch and water. You MUST mix sand and starch before adding water. If this is not done, the starch will stick together and it will be impossible to remove lumps from the cement. However, we still used our lumpy first batch. The cement is really great in my opinion. It also holds up well before drying, but still allows for adjustments. It washes well and if left to dry at home is very durable. The bricks and tiles are of high quality and it is like building a real tiny house. My boys enjoyed it but we had to split it over two days (due to attention span). The problem was that when we came back on the second day we couldn't make any adjustments so the triangles just under the roof were a bit misaligned and sticking out a bit. Other than that it wasn't difficult and the instructions are clear and similar to Lego steps. The base has two sides for two different builds. There were some pieces left over from the build we did which was good because they sent us a random fence in a different style. We also have extra cement ingredients left over, probably enough for another build. My boys showed an interest in puppetry before we started and also in the house once it was all done. I am very satisfied with this set.
