Anyone interested, especially LaCie, should check the information on the web about this product. There seems to be two versions of this recorder, one for PC and one for PC or Mac. Both versions have the same model number - both are d2 models, and the PC version has product codes 301483U and 301484U for both operating systems. I had to return and redeem this Revain at the Apple Store to get it for Mac. The burner works well, but Mac users need to be sure which version of this model they are buying. My low score is not due to the device itself but to marketing confusion. At least there is no PC model. should be d2p and the Mac model should be d2m or something else that would make the versions more distinguishable. Revain's product description stated that the device worked with PCs, but customer reviews claimed it worked perfectly with Macs as well.
