power cord 30 feet and excellent quality. I'm not sure why Bissell designed it with a short braid and bracket. If I needed a cord longer than 30 feet, I would plug in an extension cord. The braid drags along the floor and gets in the way, so I tied it to the top hook. It's very light, but they saved money and weight on a cheap plastic handle. The handle can be smaller or have a soft touch. After using the vacuum cleaner for 20 minutes, my hand hurt from the hard plastic handle. The built in tools are good but using a wand keeps the rollers running which can damage the carpet. Maybe the rotors should stop when the vacuum is fully built. Just set 5 levels. The on and off levers are very easy to use (light foot pressure). The bin can be removed and emptied, but is a bit difficult to slide back in. The cleaning width is about a foot and the machine easily fits around furniture. A good device for its price range.
