I bought it for Skype, trusted a well-known brand, which I regretted at the first attempt to use the headset for its intended purpose. If the headphones transmit sound well, then the microphone is barely audible if you speak in a normal voice. Neither twisting the microphone volume to the maximum in Skype and the audio panel, nor turning on "gain" helped. I decided to remove the microphone cover and see what they actually stuffed in there. It turned out that the wires inside the microphone housing were squeezed in at random, part of the outer insulation and the insulation of the "positive" wire were torn off. "Excellent" build quality, to be sure. Definitely not worth your money.
