READ TIPS for maximizing results!

These are my personal tips for the best results. If, like me, you've tried these masks with moderate to almost no effect but keep trying because nothing else works, please read on. I've had variable results from the worst which was a rash on my legs/burn and just a dusty, superficial peeling, to moderate: fairly good peeling but ALL left very thick skin! I generally do this because of the thick skin on the heels. So I learned a few tricks along the way and this time with this brand I'm happy to say I got the recipe right! First of all, if you have crazy, crazy, thick calluses on your heels, it's not fast. If peeling starts in the first few days, chances are it hasn't penetrated those thick layers yet. So make sure you have a solid 2 weeks to wear socks and don't if you think you'll be in strappy sandals by the weekend. 1: Soak your feet in warm, soapy water for at least 30 minutes before using booties. The hour is even better. Rinse and towel dry.2. The top of the foot and ankle are unlikely to need deep exfoliation. To protect more sensitive skin from accidental chemical burns, apply a layer of petroleum jelly to the top of the foot and ankle where the solution can penetrate. Of course, keep the rest of the foot where you want a deeper exfoliation dry.3. put on and secure cold sticky boots. Do it in the bathroom - it's dirty no matter what. I put on a pair of socks and then another pair of socks. I can put on slippers and move like that. Or just go to the cinema! 3. I let them sit for 2 1/2 hours! Now it was an accident. Something happened at my house and I had to deal with it, so the butts stayed. I planned between an hour and an hour and a half. I was concerned I was overdoing it, but the petroleum jelly really protected where I needed it.3. Remove the booties and gently wash your feet. Again with soapy water and rinse.4. Don't use lotion and put on a cozy sock on fresh feet.5. Now the waiting begins. I soak my feet in warm water with baking soda daily which really softens the layers of skin. I didn't even have a hint of peel until DAY 6! I felt the tightening on DAY 7/5. day 7! After my soak, the layers of leather started to lift and crack a little - it was amazing how this super thick leather would lift in one big piece. DONT PULL! This is very important - don't pull as the skin will have to lift itself to get at the dead layers. Pulling does not complete the peel. Those really thick spots stay and it's a mess. Trust me.9. Continue soaking with baking soda daily. The skin quickly begins to turn into a fully raised flap that slides off. You can see the weakening of the calloused areas a few days before the separation is complete. MAKE IT WORK ON YOURSELF. By day 14 this should be complete or at least almost complete. I can't stress this enough, DON'T PULL. Soak, dry, put on socks and wait. Hope this helps you! PS: No photos, I just can't bring myself to photograph this disgusting but fascinating process. However, if you're patient, you'll see the results that made you buy this in the first place, hooray!
