This is a decent device for the price and if you can live with flaws then it's worth a try. Easy connection to antenna and TV. On the first scan, I lost the channel I bought the news recorder for. It has been pixelated. So I moved the device closer to the antenna because that channel works great on TiVo and AirTV. Channel reception was excellent at the new location, but the audio was out of sync with the video. I tried the "Pause" function and after about ten seconds the image stopped. Later I tried to see the program guide but couldn't because you still linger, once you pause and restart. I had to switch channels to see the guide. Also, the guide only shows you what's happening on the channel you're watching, so you can't scroll through the guide and select the channel you want. You must switch to each channel to see the guide for that channel. Poorly. The picture was beautiful on all channels without pixelation. A better antenna or a stronger amplifier can help.
