You get what you (not) pay for.

Sure it was cheap, but this chain whip might work if you're removing the cassette from a newer bike. I used it on an old bike that has probably never had the cassette removed before. So it was pretty tight. When I used it, the handle bent and the tool became unusable. A chain whip is essentially a specialized wrench and shouldn't be expected to bend under the force the average guy pulls on it.
