Review on ๐Ÿ”‹ Clore Automotive Solar 1874 Battery Load Tester with 500 Amp Carbon Pile by William Stevenson

Doesn't work as promised.

This is a good heavy duty instrument to use for testing large racquets. BUT. It is difficult to use because the ammeter used to set the load does not read correctly. This allows the inexperienced user to drain the battery heavily, causing low voltage readings to lead to the conclusion that the battery is bad. It's hard to guess how much load you're putting on the battery, so something is wrong with the ammeter reading. The voltmeter part can be set correctly and accurately. I went through my main return window, can't get it back, my fault. Therefore I would not recommend this product. I tested it on several other load testers to find the problem. I tried to consult the Clore Automotive Products Company. The only other thing I see that might be wrong is that the written instructions are wrong and the load calculations for meter usage are wrong.
