I bought one of the 500 amp machines for $75 and they were rubbish. It was expensive, but if you have more than a basic car battery, $75 just isn't enough to charge the battery. Need over 500 amps for the largest truck and diesel truck batteries. Cry once and spend money if you want to go this route, otherwise stick with the conductivity tester.

I need a load tester for a 24V system. This device works great as it should. Fairly solid construction with very good battery terminals. When I received the tester, I noticed a rattling noise when unpacking the device. After disassembling the case I found a clip that slipped into the case.
