I bought three for my home infrared sauna. I checked several other brands of 250w infrared lamps at Lowes, Home Depot and Wal-Mart before ordering. They are of significantly better quality. They definitely have more weight and thicker threads. And if you are also building an infrared sauna, I definitely recommend the red one over the clear one. A clean 250W bulb is pretty dazzling. Plus, the warm red/orange light + warmth will instantly make you feel like you're on a hot beach. Of course you're sweaty after 20 minutes, but that's why I bought them.
