Used to create an infrared sauna

I bought three for my home infrared sauna. I checked several other brands of 250w infrared lamps at Lowes, Home Depot and Wal-Mart before ordering. They are of significantly better quality. They definitely have more weight and thicker threads. And if you are also building an infrared sauna, I definitely recommend the red one over the clear one. A clean 250W bulb is pretty dazzling. Bought this to shower in the colder east coast months. It won't wrap your body in warmth like a full-fledged heater, but it will make those winter morning showers so enjoyable without the bulk, fire hazard, and cords wrapping around your bathroom. I bought it in 2014 when we had a lot of little chickens. Winters go by fast in the south so I packed it up and put it away. I pulled it out in 2018 to warm up our magic tropical bird who has a cage in the garage. It worked well.
