I bought this power supply as a second power supply that I keep plugged into my desk and keep my OEM power supply in my bag to take with me when I travel. This power supply has not seen a break in its life and has failed after only 4 months. When it worked it had plenty of power (like my OEM charger) and worked very well. The quality of the materials is very high, so I had high hopes that this would be a good power supply. Unfortunately, the connector that plugs into the Surface has a broken connection, resulting in the Surface not charging unless lateral pressure is applied to the cable near the connector. I emailed the seller to ask if they would provide a guarantee.
