This speaker can produce sound. The bass isn't bad either. However, this isn't a color-changing speaker with lights that change or flash the music as the description claims. You can change colors individually by shaking the speaker, but you'll literally have to shake the life out of it, which can easily disable the electronics inside. I was very disappointed as the lighting feature was a huge benefit for me personally. Also, there was no charging cable in my kit and no FM radio stations were clearly on.
