Acceptable low-cost alternative with expected compromises

We used to have Obermeyer one piece snowsuits that were growing up and couldn't find Obermeyer anymore so we looked for alternatives and decided to try this one based one on reviews and price. The suit is warm, waterproof enough for the snow and inexpensive. It does an acceptable job for us and there are some trade-offs to consider. Hopefully they will hold up with use and not get punctured on the outside as others have noted. Tailoring is not the best quality. See attached photo straight out of the box. The zippers are ok but get caught in the fabric more than the best suits. The Velcro fastener, which is not needed next to the zipper in better suits, also has two problems. First, the barbed side faces the baby's chin and can be irritating. Second, it makes the suit difficult to put on and take off. See attached photo. The best designed suits grow with your child to last longer thanks to the ability to extend legs and arms. not a fabric so it should be a waterproofing spray to apply if waterproofing is required in your area. More careful inspection of the seams before saving the next one.
