The plastic case cracked after a few days of first use. I also had to look up a tutorial on how to use it on the blog because there were no (helpful) instructions. It was difficult for me to adjust each pen to the correct size; I used the large size for a slightly thicker/above average grip and it barely fit. Even then, I couldn't screw the size adapter all the way in, resulting in a lot of pen slippage when moving the silhouette. Markers and felt-tip pens don't work at all. Smaller pens (such as a standard ballpoint pen) were too thin to use even with a small adapter. All in all I am very disappointed even though this item cost less than $10. The only reason I'm even giving this article two stars is because I managed to get it to work properly twice in total, the text was beautiful. However, please note that I only got it working twice, now it's cracked and I'm incredibly frustrated with the whole process. Do yourself a favor and find a better quality pen tray, even if you have to spend a little more to get one.
