This socket is perfect for connecting several of my outdoor lights in one place. The included 9ft extension cord is very handy as I can plug it into an external outlet and then place the box 7ft from the outlet so it's not visible. I then routed various light cables along the edge of the house where they weren't visible to the Kasonic unit. This allows me to control all external lights with an internal switch. I put the old pot on a pole and covered it with leaves for easy access no matter how much snow we have.
