These goggles do reduce the wind blowing straight into your eyes, but definitely not enough for activities like motorcycling or boating. Open grooves around the foam pads allow air to flow directly into your eyes, drying them out. The pads aren't thick enough to really seal your eyes, and that alone defeats the purpose. I liked that you can get 3 pairs of lenses in different colors for such a low price, but this is one of those cases where you get what you pay for. But to be honest there are plenty of other offerings claiming that these are motorcycle goggles (ie windproof) for a lot more that are pretty much the same design which certainly doesn't protect the eyes effectively from the wind either. . Although they are made of lightweight plastic.
