I bought this antenna to replace my 2001 Suburban. After looking at the picture of the mounting base on Revain, it turned out to be the same triangular, three-hole configuration. When it came in the mail I confirmed it was the same shape as the original. The screws were different, not turned, like the original, so I had to use the old ones - it's ok. Removing and replacing the old antenna was pretty easy. I had to use a drill to make one of the holes a little longer (it didn't match the screw hole on the machine) but it was easy after that. Then I led the cable into the car and connected it to the radio. Remember - threading the antenna cable can be tricky if you've never done it before. The original cable can run behind air ducts, electronics, dashboard components and other obstacles. You will also need to remove the dashboard trim to take out the radio and connect the radio. Anyway, I've got AM radio back and can now get better FM radio!
